Why You Should Visit the Short North

Short North Series Part 7

August 12, 2019

In this series, join us as we explore Columbus’ most vibrant neighborhood, the Short North. We’ll introduce you to the series and then detail the neighborhood’s surprising history, world-class arts and culture scene, stellar lineup of events, and unparalleled dining and drinking options. Thanks for checking out our Short North blog.

Well, there you have it. If you read the previous six installations of our Short North Series then you know exactly what to expect from the “art and soul” of Columbus. All that’s left to do is see it for yourself!

One thing this series didn’t cover, but which you’re sure to notice when you visit, is all of the construction. Sidewalks are being revamped, taller, more modern, buildings and parking garages are going up, and new restaurants and bars are opening seemingly every day. It’s hard to believe, but as vibrant as the Short North is, it’s only getting better. As the neighborhood continues to densify, we’re excited to see it transform into a true 24-hour hub of activity.
